Soundplant 26 experimental Mac version This version is subpar. It is slower than the Windows version, but it is fully functional and hopefully still useful in many contexts. It is meant for MacOS 8.1-9.x; it runs ok under classic emulation on OSX. It is being made available because enough people have requested it. A registration option is not offered for the Mac version; there is for now only this one freeware release, which does support mp3 loading (on Windows this feature can only be found in the registered version). A note on dragging+dropping files-- The Soundplant Mac version does not support dragging files directly onto the program window. However, it does support dragging files onto the program icon. You can drag and drop sound files or keymap files onto the Soundplant icon/alias in the finder, and the currently running instance of Soundplant will load the files. For sound files, you can select a starting key first in Soundplant, and then drop the files. Also, the mousewheel is not supported on the Mac.
